What is Image Streaming?
Image Streaming is a combination of Einsteinian deep thought experiments and Socratising! Hope you are impressed !!!. If this hasn't put you off completely, let me explain further.
According to current brain research the suggestion is that we engage in over 90% visual processing and in less than 10% verbal processing.
Now which type of processing do we all pay the most attention to? Correct. Verbal. Because our verbal signals are clear and strong, this is not surprising really. The sad thing is that the subtle messages of the 90+% of our brain are being under-utilised. In effect, these off-line faculties are going to waste most of the time. Sometimes we get 'hunches', 'intuitions' 'flashes of genius' and are surprised and gratified by our brilliance and yet these should not be the exception, they should be the norm.
So back to the constantly arising stream of visual images (your Image Stream) - according to the pioneering work done by Dr. Win Wenger who has spent over 35 years experimenting and researching these matters, every single one of the arising visual images is meaningful. However from a very early age we learn not to pay attention to them - we are told not to daydream, to pay attention and for many of us, slowly over time the rich visual imagery is deleted from our conscious awareness.
