What is Visual Spelling for Kids?
Visual Spelling is a revolutionary way of teaching spelling.
Spelling is a skill but for people (little and big) who experience difficulty with it, it can assume greater importance than maybe it should.
The Visual Spelling Strategy comes from the field of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and has been adapted from the Visual Spelling Strategy. It's originator, Robert Dilts, discovered the way that really good, even excellent spellers spell. Therein lies the genius of the Visual Spelling for Kids.
There has been more written about what people with a poor spelling strategy do than you'd ever want to read, but to my best knowledge, very little attention has been paid to HOW good spellers do it! Until now.
The most marvellous thing about this strategy is that with practice, it can be mastered by almost everyone. Spelling can then improve beyond all expectations.
I can teach you the basics of the Visual Spelling in a three hour workshop or I can structure a series of lessons which will teach spelling in conjunction with an understanding of the English spelling system, which is perhaps more suitable for children who are experiencing or have experienced reading difficulties.
